What you get back if you cancel a ferry booking, or if the operator cancels it.
If you cancel a ferry booking, your refund depends on how long before your boarding time you cancel: 100% of what you paid at 24 hours or more, 50% from 6 to 24 hours, and nothing under 6 hours.
Your boarding time is the scheduled departure from the jetty where you board. On a sailing with several stops, that can be later than the boat's first departure.
To request a change, open My Trips, select your booking, or email [email protected] with your reference number. We coordinate with the operator and confirm eligibility before processing a refund.
You can withdraw a charter request before accepting a quote from the request detail page. After a quote is accepted and paid, cancellation terms follow the winning operator's policy.
If the operator cancels your booking because of weather, a mechanical fault or low demand, you get a full refund of what you paid, however close to departure it is.
If an operator cancels or reschedules a departure, we notify you by email and update the booking in My Trips.
