Dhangethi is a local island in South Ari Atoll, Alifu Dhaalu. It is a working fishing island with a harbour and a small guesthouse scene, and it is a common starting point for whale shark excursions in the south of the atoll. Boats also run to nearby reefs and sandbanks.
